Reproductive
Justice
The United States has become the most dangerous place in the developed world for a woman to give birth. For every 100,000 births, 42 Black women die. Their child is left without a mother and we believe that no child should have to grow up without one of their parents.
Aside from this national health tragedy, women and families all across this country need reproductive justice. Understanding that this goes far beyond the physicality of giving birth and ensuring that families have the tools and access to resources they need for their children to live whole, full lives.
We fight so every mother has the resources to raise her children in a thriving environment.
Our Fight for Families
Our political power is rooted in the collective stories and lived experiences of the womxn and families we work alongside.
We know that these experiences can shape laws that measurably change our communities and our lives. We will continue to lift up these stories and experiences as a means to advocate for the health and safety of all children born in Nevada.
Our Collective Fight
Reproductive freedom is the essential right of everyone to plan their futures and control their destinies. Everyone should be able to determine if, when, how, and with whom to start or grow a family. We support the fight for women of color to have autonomy and agency over their bodies.

As well, parents should have access to the necessary resources that are required for their children to be born healthy and safe. We believe this includes ensuring that the communities, in which these families live, have properly funded schools, access to fresh food, and access to recreational activities for their children. We will fight for families to have everything they need in order for their babies to have whole, full lives.
