Zarinah Washington, a passionate advocate for social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, is an alumnus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she earned dual degrees in Social Work. She pursued further education in Arts Administration at Howard University, gaining valuable insights into the intersection of creativity and community engagement. With a commitment to making a positive impact on society,
Zarinah has dedicated her career to merging the realms of arts administration and social work to promote equitable and inclusive practices within the creative industry. Currently serving on the Board of Advisors for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Nevada Affiliate, she is also a proud active member of the Las Vegas Alumnae chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. ​
